Sydney’s Chevalier

Following a successful international tour – which saw him perform at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris and London’s historic Sadler’s Wells Theatre – Remi is back in Australia for the Sydney seasons of Interplay and Manon. In the latter he will appear as Chevalier Des Grieux at 1.30pm on Saturday 29 November, then again at 7.30pm on Wednesday 3 December. Book tickets.

  1. So glad to have you back on Aussie soil. Wish I could see you in Sydney dance up a storm, but i will see it in my dreams no doubt. A true artist I’m proud to call my best friend! xx

  2. Your turn in Manon on Wednesday was a truly magical moment in ballet. I have seen the role performed many times by stars in America and Europe and your Des Grieux was on par with the best of them. You are a tender and considerate partner and you possess a technical finesse that is only matched by your capacity to tell the inner emotional story of your character during your solos. I was thrilled and moved and so glad to have discovered you (I know little about ballet in Australia) and I would have paid to see you again had I not had a flight to catch the next day. What a perfect end to my first stay in Sydney!
