Dancing in New York

For the past two weeks Remi has been back at the Lincoln Centre in New York learning A Suite Of Dances by Jerome Robbins.  Read the article that appeared in The Age yesterday (11 February 2008).  A Suite Of Dances is a 20-minute solo accompanied by a single cello that was first performed by Mikhail Baryshnikov.  It has remained a popular part of New York City Ballet’s repertoire ever since and Remi will dance its Australian premiere at the Sydney Opera House in April.
